Michael Jung is a German rider who has achieved his greatest successes in eventing to date. From 2012 until the 2014 World Equestrian Games he was the first eventing rider to win the Olympic, World and European Individual Equestrian Games at the same time.

 

In 2024 he again became Olympic Champion in the individual classification. From April 2015 to March 2018, he held the leading position in the world ranking.

 

In addition to eventing, Jung also competes in jumping and dressage competitions up to the advanced level. At the Stuttgart
German Masters 2010, for example, he won not only the indoor eventing derby but also two national dressage competitions and one international time jumping competition.

In 2017, Jung took part in more than ten international show jumping tournaments up to CSI 5* and finished in the top third of the Geneva Grand Prix, which is endowed with over one million Swiss francs.
